Old Cars Shouldn’t Weep

Posted by: admin / Category: Properties Directory

You’re answering a newspaper post and driven out to the country to get a close up look at used cars for sale. The owners are nice and you see the new car they bought as a replacement sitting proudly in the top position of their driveway. The old one sitting down at the curb is just waiting to be bought and driven away. It’s the model you want but its a few years older than the one you saw in town at the car dealers. The price is much lower and that has you wondering.

As they give you the keys and you start it up the engine is so quiet you can’t tell its running. After a quick ride around the square you pull back into the parking space and on the ground right where the car sat is a big wet spot! While the owners assure you that it always happens when it first starts up you start to wonder about the money you’ll save.

For a few dollars more at the used cars dealer you would have their warranty if the car started to weep in your parking space, or started to sputter on the way home from work. Be smart and thank the nice couple for showing you their pride and joy and head straight to the dealer and pay a few dollars more for some peace of mind.
